Caring for the health of children has become a priority all over the world. Today it is important for adults to form and maintain an interest in children’s health.

One of the main directions in the work of a kindergarten is working with parents of children attending a preschool institution. If we want to raise a morally and physically healthy generation, we must solve this problem together with our parents.

Problems of protection and education can be successfully solved through joint action, mutual trust and understanding between parents, educators, and medical workers. Not a single, even the best physical education and health program can give full results if it is not decided together with the family. Increasing the psychological and pedagogical competence of parents, involving them in active participation in the educational process is an integral part of valeological education for introducing a healthy lifestyle.

For the first time, the largest Russian microbiologist, doctor Ilya Ilyich Mechnikov, spoke about the need for valeological education of people. He believed: the most important thing is to teach a person the correct, unmistakable choice in any situation only that which is useful, that promotes health and the rejection of everything harmful.

The need for valeological education is also emphasized by studies confirming that a person’s health depends only 7-8% on the success of healthcare and more than 60% on his lifestyle.

Valueological education is a process that is aimed at preserving and strengthening the health of children, parents, teachers, its implementation is associated with a change in the attitude towards the health of parents, children, and teaching staff; This is an innovative process that covers the entire team; its implementation is associated with a restructuring in the minds of all participants in the pedagogical process, that is, valeological education acts as a complex pedagogical phenomenon. [4]

It is the kindergarten that is the place for valeological education of parents. The forms of interaction with parents are varied; they can be both individual and group, traditional and non-traditional.

In accordance with this, valeological education of parents includes:

· familiarizing parents with the results of diagnostics of the child’s health status and psychomotor development;

· participation in the preparation of individual programs (plans) for children’s health;

· targeted sanitary education work promoting general hygienic requirements, the need for a rational regimen and a complete balanced diet, hardening, optimal air and temperature conditions, etc.;

· familiarizing parents with the content of physical education and health work in kindergarten, aimed at the physical, mental and social development of the child;

· training in specific techniques and methods of healing (physical therapy, breathing exercises, self-massage, various types of hardening, etc.);

· familiarization with treatment and preventive measures carried out in preschool educational institutions, training in certain non-traditional methods of improving the health of the child’s body (herbal medicine, aromatherapy, etc.).

To achieve these tasks, the following are widely used:

1. Conducting parent meetings, seminars, workshops, consultations.

2. Pedagogical conversations with parents (individual and group) on problems.

3. Round table meetings

4. Advisory work (use of media, information stands, thematic corners and folders for moving in groups).

— Use of Internet resources (posting information on the preschool educational institution website, using interactive forms of interaction).

- advice and recommendations to parents, inform about ongoing events, report on the work done and report on their successes and victories in competitions and competitions.

— Working with parents to design Health Corners, mobile folders with material on developing healthy lifestyle habits in children; (development and distribution of visual materials (bookmarks, booklets, leaflets), with an appeal to lead a healthy lifestyle yourself and teach your children to do so.

Parents must be regular participants in all competitions held in the preschool institution. It is necessary to conduct practical seminars, open days and other events. When the uniform requirements of the kindergarten and family in matters of education, health improvement, physical activity, hygiene procedures, and the development of motor skills are met, then healthy lifestyle skills will be correctly formed in preschoolers.

Thus, a variety of forms of cooperation with the family on the issue of a healthy lifestyle makes it possible to instill in children a sense of responsibility for their health, a desire to maintain athletic shape and strive to achieve new knowledge and skills. By intensifying the role of parents through organizing joint activities between children and adults, the best results can be achieved in the physical development and health of preschool children. Not a single, even the best physical education and health program can give full results if it is not decided together with the family. Having a child and their parents play sports together is one of the main aspects of parenting.

Thus, the technology of valeological education of parents allows not only to actually implement an individual approach to each child, but also to involve parents in joint systematic efforts to improve the health of the child’s body during the entire stay in a preschool institution.
