- glue. A safe glue that small children can use is PVA or paste;
- pencil.

- help your child when difficulties arise, for example, when tracing templates or cutting out parts;
- make sure that the child does not eat the glue or smear it all around;
- don’t let them play around with scissors; pay attention to ensuring that the tips of the scissors are directed away from the child.

Please note: When creating circle applications for preschoolers, you need to prepare cardboard templates in advance. They can be drawn using a compass. A child or adult traces the outline of the template on colored paper. Then the image is cut out along the contour.
There are special hole punchers that, when you press a lever, cut out a finished figurine from colored paper. This way, you don’t have to use scissors and templates, and cutting out the figures will take much less time.
