Leisure scenario for senior preschool children “Pet Lovers Club”
Purpose: To introduce children to the holiday - International Pet Day Objectives: To expand children’s knowledge about keeping pets and caring for them using the example of a cat. To develop cognitive interest, memory, attention, thinking To promote in children a love for animals, increasing responsibility for those who have been tamed Equipment: Multimedia projector Cat - a toy and everything for its maintenance and care Participants: Presenter (teacher), nurse, children Progress of the event : The hall is decorated with photographs of children with a pet. Music sounds, children enter the hall and sit on chairs. Host: Guys, today we have a holiday - International Pet Day, it is dedicated to all animals domesticated by humans. This holiday has another name - Cat Day. Cats are a symbol of domestic animals. This day is celebrated in different countries of the world in their own way. Some people allow their pets to do all the previously prohibited things: tear wallpaper, chew furniture, ride on curtains, and even eat from the table. Some go to a beauty salon with their pet, some buy their pet a huge amount of goodies, and some simply pay maximum attention to their feathered, waterfowl or four-legged friend. Guys, do you have pets at home? Children: Yes! Dog, cat, guinea pig….. Host: Maybe it’s troublesome, But even in a cramped apartment, Life is more interesting for us with pets! The cat is purring on the pillow, the dog is happily waving its tail, the fish have fresh food in the feeder. What a wonderful, kind home! In addition to bowls with water and food, the cat must have a cat litter box. It needs to be placed somewhere in a secluded place. Cats love to sharpen their claws and often do this on furniture. To do this, we need a special structure for sharpening claws. This can be a wooden post covered with burlap or a piece of old rug. The cat must be taught to use this device - and your furniture will be safe. If the claws are not worn down enough, they need to be trimmed. To keep your cat healthy and beautiful, you need to take care of its fur. Cats should often not be bathed; they usually clean themselves quite well. But sometimes it is necessary, and for this there are pet shampoos with additives against fleas and ticks. After washing, the cat must be dried and brushed. The cat also needs a special bed in a secluded place, away from drafts. You can put a basket with a blanket or mattress, and don’t forget to clean it. Yes, I almost forgot. We need to play with a cat, and for this we will need artificial mice, birds, balls, in extreme cases, even a piece of paper or a reel on a string will do; it can also be used for good hunting. In addition to games, cats benefit from walks. It’s scary to let a cat out into the street - dogs can hurt you, it won’t take long to get hit by a car, and people are different. Therefore, I advise you to walk cats on a leash. And if you want to go to the country with your cat, then you need a cage - a carrier or a basket. Host: Guys, do you know what to feed a cat? Children: Milk, fish, etc. Nurse: That's right, guys. I recommend feeding cats at the same time, preferably morning and evening. The basis of nutrition should be meat - raw or boiled. Sometimes you need to give fish - preferably boiled, without seeds. They give cats milk, cheese, cottage cheese. Vegetables and fruits are healthy. And there are foods that should not be given to cats. Which ones do you think?
