Lesson on the world around us on the topic “Magic circle. Seasons"

Four seasons a year:
  1. winter,
  2. spring,
  3. summer,
  4. autumn.

Each season is beautiful in its own way. Spring is rich in flowers and the first rays of the sun, winter brings holidays and winter fun. In the eyes of children, all seasons look like a new world with bright, characteristic smells, colors, and sensations. It is best to start acquainting your child with all the seasons of the year using children's pictures for preschoolers “Change of seasons: spring, winter, autumn, summer.” It is desirable that they clearly demonstrate the features of each season separately. This didactic game contributes to the development of preschoolers’ horizons and their understanding of the laws of nature.

How can you use them?

Pictures on the theme “Change of seasons: spring, summer, autumn, winter” and a didactic game for children are best suited. This way the child will better remember the material being studied. First, the child should be explained what natural phenomena are characteristic of each time of the year. Only then can he be shown all kinds of pictures for children with images of different seasons. When the baby looks at them carefully, let him name all the seasons that the didactic game offers. This way, your child will not only visually remember new information, but will also be able to consolidate it well.

At home, you can come up with another option for studying the change of seasons for children.

For example, such a didactic game could be created. To do this, make your own card from white cardboard and draw on it in the upper part flying birds, a blooming snowdrop, a strawberry bush and a sleeping bear. From each drawing, draw paths in the form of a labyrinth, label the corresponding seasons of the year below. Ask your child to walk along the paths of the labyrinth and say at what time of year birds fly to warm countries, when snowdrops bloom, when strawberries ripen in the forest, and at what time of year the bear sleeps. Start such activities with your child only when he shows interest in it. The following didactic game may be applicable in kindergarten. The teacher gives each child 4 children's cards with images of certain objects. Gives a few minutes to consider them. Then he asks to name whether there is an extra item among them that does not relate to a certain time of year. For example, a snowman is an unnecessary item, because it can only be made or encountered in winter. The one who names everything correctly wins.

This didactic game for children “Change of seasons: spring, summer, autumn, winter” is well suited. The teacher invites the children to choose the name of the season of the year, for example, spring or winter. When everyone has made a choice, they are shown one by one fragments of pictures with different seasons. The one to whom this fragment suits takes it for himself. Whoever completes the task first will be the winner. Here I have collected free pictures for children “Change of Seasons”, as well as posters, all kinds of cards about the seasons, games and much more. All materials can be downloaded for free. Didactic game "Seasons"

The middle group plays, preschoolers 4-5 years old.

The purpose of the didactic game “Seasons” is to form and consolidate knowledge about the sequential change of seasons, instilling a respectful attitude towards nature.

The activity helps preschoolers:

  • remember the seasons of the year and the sequence of their alternation;
  • correctly identify visual seasonal signs;
  • consolidate ideas about the features of the 4 calendar times;
  • develop observation, visual memory, ability to concentrate, speech skills;
  • cultivate love in nature, a caring attitude towards its objects;
  • see natural beauty in all seasons.

For the game, you need to prepare 4 illustrations depicting the same landscape in different seasons, cut out cards with depicted signs, objects and phenomena of each season.

Children look at pictures of seasonal landscapes. The teacher shows the cards one after another, and the students choose images that correspond to the selected illustrations of the seasons, name what is depicted, and explain the choice. The first participant to choose the correct cards without errors wins.

For older groups, the game can be complicated.

To make it more difficult, the teacher himself lays out the cards according to the pictures of landscapes, but incorrectly. The children's task is to move the cards to the appropriate seasons.

Cardboard tree with seasons

A layout of such an unusual shape can be used not only as a theme for classes in school or kindergarten, but also as teaching material.

For this craft you will need:

  • corrugated cardboard (containers for goods from the store);
  • scissors, pencil, ruler;
  • PVA glue and water, napkins;
  • acrylic paints and brushes for them;
  • felt decor.

You can make decorative elements with your own hands or buy ready-made animal figurines, flowers, and foliage at a craft store.

Let's start creating the base of the tree. We first cut out the template from newspaper, then transfer it to cardboard and cut it out again.

On the parts we make cuts up to the marks - on one from the bottom to the middle, on the second from the top to the middle. We “put” the elements on top of each other.

Now you need to install the tree on a round base. To do this, we bend the “legs”, remove the corrugated part of the cardboard, and glue the bent part to the round blank, the base of the “Seasons” craft.

You can start finishing the wood. To do this you will need napkins, water and PVA glue. We dilute the glue in a large container with water at the rate of 1*1, moisten napkins in the solution and use them to cover the base with your own hands on all sides, including the stand.

Using acrylic paints we paint the seasons on each side of the craft - winter, spring, summer and autumn.

The last step is decor. As we decorate, we explain to the child what changes are happening in nature, how animals behave, for example, a bear sleeps in winter, birds that have flown south return in the spring, etc.
